To use DVD to VCD SVCD MPEG AVI Ripper,
your computer must meet the following requirements,

What's DivX?

You can play DivX in your computer or share it in Internet.
Some newer DivX player can now play DivX movie as well.
It seems DivX 5.03 is not as good as 5.02. Divx 5.0.5
is recommended. You can get this from Divx.com.

What is the best output format?
In
general, I recommend users to use DivX codec or Microsoft
MPEG4 codec which has better quality or smaller file size.

the different between .IFO and .VOB file?
The .IFO (and backup .BUP) files contain menus and other
information about the video and audio, you can treate
it as the index of the media content. The .VOB files (for
DVD-Video) and .AOB files (for DVD-Audio) are MPEG-2 program
streams with additional packets containing navigation
and search information

to do when meet error message "MPEG2Dec: Error during
decoder itialisation"?
It may because that your DVD disc is from
a region limited by your DVD-ROM.

The same as the above question, it may because
that your DVD disc is from a region limited by your DVD-ROM.
